Why dues matter
Membership dues support ANOHC’s ability to advocate for key oral health issues, provide resources and guidance, and facilitate collaboration across coalitions. Without sufficient funding, these core functions are impacted.
Hardship accommodations
ANOHC understands that some coalitions face funding challenges. If your coalition is unable to pay the full dues amount, you may request an accommodation in your application.
Please briefly explain your situation and indicate the maximum amount your coalition can reasonably contribute. There is no fixed minimum. Accommodations should only be requested when truly necessary.
ANOHC relies on member support to continue advocating for critical issues and providing resources to coalitions nationwide.
Payment Options
Two ways to pay your dues
Pay online via Zeffy
ANOHC uses Zeffy for online dues payment. Zeffy charges no processing fees, meaning 100% of your payment goes directly to ANOHC. Quick, easy, and no account required.

Questions
Common questions about membership
Is there a deadline to apply?
Applications are accepted year-round. However, to participate in the Annual Member Meeting, your application and dues must both be submitted by the published deadlines for the current year.
What happens if dues are not paid on time?
Members who do not submit dues may lose access to ANOHC communications, including the listserv and Annual Meeting participation. Dues must be current at least 30 days before the Annual Meeting to remain active.
Can our coalition request a dues reduction?
Yes. The ANOHC board understands that some coalitions face funding challenges. You may request an accommodation in your membership application. There is no fixed minimum contribution required.
What are the steps after submitting an application?
Once your application is submitted, pay your membership dues and then complete the State Oral Health Coalition Comparison Tool survey after your application is approved.
My coalition is government-affiliated. Can we still join?
Yes — as an Affiliate Member. Coalitions with direct governmental oversight that prevents them from taking policy positions are welcome as Affiliates. Affiliate members have access to all shared resources and ANOHC policy positions.
Our coalition is just getting started. Is there a place for us?
Absolutely. ANOHC’s Emerging membership category is designed for coalitions in the process of forming. There are no dues while you are getting established, and you will have access to coalition-building resources and peer support.
